Seho ViComp Automated Optical Inspection

Due to increasing miniaturization of components and unsteady board layouts visual control has become a complicated issue.

The optical inspection unit ViComp supports operators during test and rework.  Alternating images of a reference board (golden board) and the actual production board are shown on the monitor.  As the human eye is trained to recognized fast images, the differences between the images, i.e. the defects, will be recognized by the operator immediately.

Manual and automatic inspection methods allow a fast and easy setup of test programs for different sizes of batches, thus ensuring highest product quality and reliability at simultaneously low investment cost.
