ESD-Career
You can choose the respective training for your further education and attend various specific seminars and workshops. The seminars begin with ESD-Fundamentals/ESD-Specialist, which is followed by ESD-Coordinator and can be further extended with ESD-Auditor seminar (according to IEC 61340-5-1).

1. ESD-fundamentals / ESD-Specialist
Short description: Seminar on a comprehensive and detailed introduction on the subject of ESD (electrostatic discharge).
Based on the ESD-standard: IEC (DIN EN) 61340-5-1
Target group: Individuals, employees and specialists with ESD-relevant tasks in all process areas, ESD-helpers, foremen, developers, buyers, heads of departments, group leaders, managers.
Previous knowledge required: Not mandatory, understanding of processes and manufacturing processes could be an advantage.
Specific feature: This seminar is the basis for the ESD-Coordinator seminar.
2. ESD-Coordinator
Short description: Seminar for necessary qualification as ESD-Coordinator according to IEC 61340-5-1
Target group: Individuals, employees and specialists with ESD-relevant tasks in all process areas, ESD-helpers, foremen, developers, buyers, heads of departments, group leaders, managers.
Previous knowledge required: Not mandatory, understanding of processes and manufacturing processes could be an advantage.
Specific feature: This seminar is the basis for the ESD-Coordinator seminar
3. ESD-fundamentals and coordinator in a combined ESD-Seminar
Short description: Seminar for qualification as ESD-Coordinator according to IEC 61340-5-1.
Target group: Individuals and employees responsible for ESD-protection, quality managers, ESD-helpers, heads of departments, production managers, skilled workers, technicians, engineers, developers.
Previous knowledge required: ESD-Specialist: Not mandatory, understanding of processes and manufacturing processes could be an advantage.
4. ESD-Auditor
Short description: Seminar for qualification as ESD-Auditor according to IEC 61340-5-1.
Extended description: The ESD-auditor is able to plan, perform and evaluate the ESDaudits of his company and also on suppliers level and to validate the results according to the requirements of the standard.
Target group: ESD-Coordinators, quality managers, responsible managers for ESD, procurement- and logistics managers.
Previous knowledge required: Successful participation of an ESD-Coordinator training or comparable previous knowledge upon proof.
